Scenario
Three strangers, living in the same New York apartment building and sharing an obsession with true crime, suddenly find themselves involved in a murder. He is actually a very gifted and accomplished musician. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel, with that elevator scene.

BUT the opening has CHS in a 7th floor apartment, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th – in reverse order and much lower than the actual floor of CHS’s apartment within the series. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed Only Murders in the Building. There is a reason both seasons were nominated for and won so many awards.
The three of them are so likable and it’s easy to root for this series
The cast (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short) and the writing are what makes this show so special. Martin and Short clash like the legends they are and Gomez is a much better actress than I expected. This show was so good and every episode was so funny that I watched both seasons in one weekend.
I can’t wait!
It’s a mystery show with lots of twists and laughs. I’m looking forward to season 3 coming out soon. Season 3 will be the best yet with Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep added to the cast.
