Scenario
In Indiana in the 1980s, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government undertakings. While searching for answers, the children unravel a series of incredible mysteries. Steve Perry, former lead vocalist of Journey, said that the Stranger Things Season 4 remix of Journey’s 1980s hit Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) was pretty much what he originally wanted in the 1980s, but lacked the technology.
If you’re broadcasting and someone else is broadcasting, you won’t hear them
During a series of episodes, people are seen 'interrupting' someone is talking on a two-way radio or CB – that is, one person is talking/transmitting and the other person is transmitting to interrupt them, then the other person hears this interruption and stops transmitting. This has been done several times on children’s CB radios and on radios used by the police. Those radios – CB and period police radios from the series – don’t work like that.

I’m one of those people who was confused by the idea that this was a kid’s drama, from a commercial that you’d swear was aimed at a 4 o’clock after school broadcast, the reality is far from that. It’s a pretty intense drama, totally absorbing, the kind of show you can’t help but binge watch. As someone who grew up in the eighties, I can appreciate the detail that went into the production, it’s like they went back and recorded it live, it’s incredibly well done.
It’s like The Goonies meets The Quatermass Experiment
I love the music so much, it’s so fitting, it takes me back to the wonderful shows of the eighties. Quality in season one and two, I like the buildup and tension that is abundant in season one. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about.
