Scenario
Need a lawyer? He runs his law firm out of his Lincoln and is ready to hit the gas. As he moves around Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing his personal life, which includes fatherhood and living with two ex-wives.

The series was originally planned for 2020 with CBS, but was canceled shortly before the first episode began filming due to COVID. Netflix has now picked it up for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict. Personalized California license plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, yet all of Mickey’s license plates have a minimum of eight.

Very brave to give Manuel Garcia-Rulfo the lead role… and it seems like a lot of people find that hard to accept… but his gentle approach works and he’s a great fit in LA.

It seems like the whole character development was a gamble… I think one that will pay off in the long run. but it gets a 9 to make up for the people who just get it wrong.
