Scenario
Bailey lives with his brother Hunter and father Bug, who is raising them alone in a squat in north Kent. Bailey looks elsewhere for attention and adventure.

Barry Keoghan dropped out of Gladiator II (2024) to appear in this film instead. Enjoyed Bird, some very strong performances.
It’s a very musical film, and as always, a good choice for a soundtrack
Including the edges of the frame gave a nice effect to tell the story with very honest, naturalistic images. I could say it could be tighter in editing and it feels a bit too whimsical in places, but the magical realism element was an interesting and unexpected development.
Every element of the film was real and honest
The film felt real throughout, and the details of the production design helped it intensively. My only criticism is that it could have been told in an hour.
